It is also an anti-inflammatory. It is known that lycopene contained in red foods reduces the risk of cancer. Examples of red foods are beets, tomatoes, red grapes, strawberries, and raspberries. Anthocyanins give color to purple foods and play an anti-aging role. In addition, it is important for bone health and for some types of cancer. Red and purple foods are generally effective in protecting our immune system. It protects our body against diseases ”.


Specialist Dietician Eda Balcı stated that orange foods in yellow and orange foods are rich in antioxidants and said, “It reduces the risk of heart diseases. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it strengthens the immune system. Examples of these foods are pumpkin, carrots, and oranges. Yellow foods are also rich in vitamin C. It is effective in the digestive system. They regulate brain functions. Examples are banana, pineapple, lemon, and potato. Generally, yellow and orange foods are foods with high vitamin C and high fiber. They increase our body resistance by removing harmful substances from our body, ”he added:

“White foods contain allicin. Thanks to this substance they contain, it strengthens the immune system. In addition, it is protective against heart diseases. It lowers cholesterol and blood sugar. Examples of these foods are garlic, onion, white radish, and cauliflower. Green foods are rich in vitamins A, C, B2 and many more, and minerals such as potassium, magnesium and phosphorus. These foods are also high in fiber and keep the intestines working properly. These foods have blood cleansing, immune system strengthening and fatigue relief effects. It is also effective against psychological disorders and problems such as acne ”.
