Mutant virus claim in Eskişehir: the apartment where 98 people lived was quarantined

In Eskişehir, when the corona virus tests of 14 people in the 10-floor apartment where 98 people live were positive, a 10-day quarantine application was initiated for those living in other apartments. While the virus was claimed to be a mutant virus, the entrance of the building was closed by police teams with a security strip.

Corona virus was detected in 14 people according to the test results made on Friday in the 10-floor apartment consisting of 98 people and 40 apartments in the Batıkent District of Eskişehir’s Tepebaşı district.
Thereupon, the Tepebaşı District Hygiene Board decided to quarantine the apartment for 10 days.
Police teams took the entrance of the apartment under control by pulling a security strip.
Apartment manager Avni Öndül stated that everyone was tested, but they were not informed about whether the positive results were mutated.
Öndül said, “The filming team knows how many people have viruses. We do not know, but there are many. Our building has been closed for 4 days, we will stay in quarantine for 10 days. There are 40 flats in our building and 98 people live. No one is in severe condition. After checking everyone, they closed the building and left. We meet our needs from outside by phone. They leave the packages in front of the door. We take it from there and go inside immediately. We have a bakery opposite, he leaves us bread every morning. We want it to end as soon as possible, “he said.
