In the statement made by the French Ministry of Health, it was stated that a new Covid-19 mutation called ‘Breton Variant’ was detected in the Brittany region.

CANNOT BE DETECTED IN PCR TEST

In Le Monde’s report, the General Directorate of Health of France stated that the Breton variant was detected in eight patients, and according to preliminary studies, there was no data showing that the new mutation was more deadly or contagious than other mutations.
