By applying a nanopolymer-based biosensor system, Turkish scientists can determine the baby’s Rh value within 10 minutes from 5 ml of blood taken from the mother who is at risk of Rh incompatibility. Thus, with the patented new generation test kit, it can be quickly detected whether there is blood incompatibility in the baby. Prof. Dr. Levent Kayrın says that if the blood type of the baby is detected as Rh negative as a result of the test, it indicates that there is no blood incompatibility between the mother and the baby. Prof. Dr. Kayrın stated that in this situation, which does not carry any risk in terms of pregnancy, blood incompatibility injection to the mother, no additional treatment is required and normal follow-up is continued.

Pregnancy is monitored much more closely and ultrasound findings that may cause blood incompatibility in the baby are sought ”.
